Oakville is just ouside of Toronto - it goes Toronto, Mississauga, Oakville, Burlington, going southwest. At one point, and it may still be, Oakville had the highest per capita income in Canada. A lot of nice people there, quite safe, but still, a small minority had more money than brains.

Currently, I am visiting my husband in TX for the holidays, but live in Oakville, ON. Grew up in SK originally, moved to ON in 2003. My life has taken some odd twists...
