me neither! that place is so expensive and I don't settle for just any cheesecake. There's a place in downtown Brooklyn called Juniors and it blows the cheesecake factory's cheesecake out of the water. I haven't been there in a few years though. I live in the suburbs now so to take a 1 hr drive or train ride for cheesecake with two kids is just crazy. (However I have driven to Queens for Arby's on quite a few occassions, there are no Arby's where I live and it is truly sad

We have an Arby's real close by me and no one seems to ever go there. Down on the next corner is McMurder and Burger C##t and they are always packed.

Cheesecake is so expensive.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

he almost got into a southern backyard brawl after some hooligan went pee pee on his BBQ grill!

Susita,

Juniors Cheesecake is the best!!!

Yes, NY is a very expensive state to live in. That's why I'm in SC right now, to save money, go back to school, move back to NY.

I knew a girl that would drive an hour to The Bronx just to get white castle because there was no WC upstate where I lived.

Bishop- I was filled with spirits for sure last night. Def not the holy spirit, but spirits none the less.

Yes, I was talking in tongues and yelling at young hooligans to get of my yard.

what??? OMG I would kill for a beef n' cheddar from Arby's any day of the week. Another place I miss is Jack n' the Box. Haven't been there in at least 10 years since they closed them all by me. I was lucky enough to pass one while driving to FL about 10 yrs ago with family.

Cheesecake is expensive! It's really not too cheap to make either, the ingredients add up. I make a decent cheesecake myself, I can't do anything fancy but I can make chocolate chip, chocolate swirl, strawberry or cherry. I usually make stuff like that for my mom's birthday. However, I don't come close to Cheesecake Factory.

I'm searching my house for things to sell on E-Bay and stuff to donate. Gotta make room for all the baby stuff. Also gotta get some $$ for this ####### pump which is gonna cost around $250-$300

Anybody want to buy some stuff??

I knew a girl that would drive an hour to The Bronx just to get white castle because there was no WC upstate where I lived.

Damn I hope she didn't eat the burgers on the way home  That stuff gives you the runs in a bad way :o

Ugh...I hear you brother Chris...I would have wolloped that punk and his entire party crew  You sound like me and AAm...we too lived in a great townhouse we were renting for a year...and no one lived next to us for the first nine months...it was perfect. But, then a bunch of 23 year old punks rented the one next to us and they sound alot like your current neighbors...but 3 months later we had bought the house we have now and we're on an acre of land so no more worries :star:

Overall though, sounds like you had a great time! Happy New Year Bro!

Yes, Although I am jealous of your New Years Bishop. I much rather be huddled up on the couch with Zhan. My party days and drinking days are pretty much over for sometime now.

I dream of having a small house on a nice sized piece of land in upstate NY one day. It's quite funny, I was always this radical, I don't want to settle down, have a family type person but around the time I turned 28 I decided that what I wanted was much different. I got tired of parties, self centered "important" ppl, social scenes yadda yadda. I really want simplicity, a family, a decent job, and it might sound cheesy but to find God, not just say it but really mean it. I was very close to the Catholic church when I was young, I was an alter boy, loved my religion the kids in catechism called me "The exorcist." because I always studied and knew the answers during CCD. My father was a ornamental metal cleaner in NYC he got a contract job with the Brooklyn archdiocese, I used to go on the weekends to help him since I was 4. We would clean and maintain the mausoleums and then go to the Bishops mansion where they had catered parties, heated drive ways, maids, butlers, drove Lincoln's, yes they were all very nice men, but at a young age i began to understand that my "Donation" was going to them when right out side their mansion there were poor ppl begging for food.

I also, had a friend that was molested by a priest (the priest that actually confirmed me into the church) the boy turned to drugs and eventually died of a heroin over dose. These and more things have made me a little bitter against the church. I do respect the Franciscan orders, But the church as a whole disturbs me. I was taught that the Catholic church is the only true church of Christ but after all the things that have happened I believe that the church is just another institution of man and is subject to corruption just like any other. I figured I am my own conduit to god for now. I think Zhanna has helped me want t take steps back to the church (even though she is Russian Orthodox) She went without religion for most of her life due to Soviet era communism. I hope one day I will find that peace of mind......

look at me go off on a tangent. sorry.

I was taught that the Catholic church is the only true church of Christ

But the first church was made up of mostly Jews. It's not the doctrine you follow....it's Christ.

I understand, it's just hard to think diffrent when you have this drummed into your head as a child. You feel like you are pissing God off when you are raised to think this way.

I went my entire life (almost) thinking G-d couldn't possibly love me and He is waiting to thunk me over the head for my every day screw ups. But forget all that....just read The Book. The devil loves to put excuses into our heads.

Hey Chris...my party days are behind me too...because I'm old, in my 40s! <haha> In fact, my wife doesn't drink at all...but on NYE..well, its the right thing to do

Believe it or not...what you've written above really 'mirrors' my own life...almost to a exact replica! Yep, I went through those same Church experiences as I grew up...left the Church for basically the same reasons...and then came back to God and the Church because of his calling.

Keep what you've said above in mind and you'll find what you're after...

Peace to you brother, you are right thinking indeed.

Thank you Brother Bishop. I hope one day I hear the calling myself. I think I have to change a few things about myself first so maybe that I can hear it better.
