At my old job someone told me I was racist against latinos because I wouldn't give them a refund on something. I started speaking Spanish.

Idiots come in all shapes and sizes.

Some, azzhats tried pulling the race card on me once at my super cool job at Johnny Rockets.

The ppl ordered (man and woman whom I thought looked Italian) 1st after another of my tables ordered (white guy black girl).

The white guy and black girl got their food first. as I went back to the kitchen the man and woman said to me, "Why did they get their food 1st?" I apologized and said it was because the cooks sent it out that way. They then accused me of being racist and that I didn't like Puerto Ricans and that I wanted to bring the food to a white person first. I explained that it's the way the Mexican cooks sent it out (I did not tell them the cook was Mexican). Then I had to go get my Peruvian manager....... So yes, I was tring to spread my racisit agenda to the food and bev industry. So in turn I didn't get a tip from the Puerto Ricans that I though looked Italian and the Black and White table overheard them and felt it was justification for them not leaving me a tip.

To make me feel like even more ####### I had to dance for these ppl. FTW!!!!!!

I think Luis idolizes Brazil :star: He wears those Brazil soccer shirts all the time  Apparently they're the best at soccer? Well, other than Barcelona he says.

Fortunately there aren't that many narrow minded people around here. It's so diverse here you literally almost meet someone from every culture. In Peru, people used to stare at me and Luis because he was dating a gringa. Here no one gives a sh*t. I think in that respect it was easier for him to feel accepted here, even though he didn't know english that well. He hasn't gotten one strange look from anyone (that we know of). I, however, was stared at as if I had something on my face on a constant basis. It was so uncomfortable.

 That would work as a means to identify my nationality for sure!

Actually, people I've met in Puerto Rico ask me if I am from Spain.

Susita, yes, every south american respects our soccer, it's common for them to cheer for brazillian teams as much as their own or the european league ones.

Who's having what for lunch?

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

I don't know, but I am starving! I'm trying to save myself for my in-laws meal at night, I think I'll grill some chicken for lunch.

Yes, I have come to the same conclusion. Until that glorious day I will be quite, then I will come to smite those bastards.
