ugh... I am okay now. Basically my cousin came to town yesterday, she couldn't make it for Christmas... & yesterday my aunt FBed me to tell me to come to dinner at her house tonight. Well, I have a 6pm ultrasound appt. that I couldn't reschedule. It was back & forth on the phone all morning - like she isn't going to be around tomorrow she's going back to PA etc etc. So... what I'm supposed to cancel my doc appt and wait another 2 weeks for another one because all these ppl are so last minute? No one ever considers the sh*t I have to do.

I'm a bad person I suppose.

Ahhh, I've always wanted to take a trip by train, sounds so adventurous in a way, 'cus you get to appreciate the scenery without that worries of driving (which I did a lot of all over Brazil).

I rode Amtrak once to FL. They made us play games to win blankets and pillows Never effing again.

I had to cancel my follow up appt for today because my sister had surgery yesterday and I had no one to drive me to the thing. Now my appt is next Tuesday. I have good/bad news for me. The good part is I think I'm getting out of kid duty the rest of the week. The bad part is the reason I'm getting out of kid duty is my incision is splitting open from doing too much. It's not a lot but it's a sign that I'm doing too much. I have applied steri strips and I'm back in bed.

Do movie night with them. That way they're all snuggled up in blankets and they don't move that much. Every night has been movie night @ my house since the kids are on vacation. We have LOTS of microwave popcorn.
