Morning everyone!

I'm a late starter today. Only have 2 kids at Amby's winter break daycare today. They're the two sweetest ones and only drove me a bit crazy this morning when they started banging on the piano at 7am to wake me up. Then they brought me coffee and got in bed with me to watch a movie.

Last night I was woke up by a really loud noise but I didn't hear anything after it and figured if someone came in the house I'm too weak and bruised to defend myself and my stuff so I just stayed in bed. When I got up this morning I realized a shelf in the storage closet broke and there's TONS of stuff all over the floor. I just shut the door again. I decided it can't bother me if I don't even see it.

Funny story before I have to get ready to leave here....

The next day after my husband arrived in the US, we went out in the backyard. There is the neighbours tree up against our back fence and in the tree was a squirrel. My husband looked at the squirrel and asked me, " Is this the neighbour's pet? ". He had never seen a squirrel before.

anyone have more suggestions of foods for me to make for nye? I'm going to make laura's mom's fruitcake

AAm is in the process of making between 150-200 handmade spring rolls for distribution to all our neighbors. She is the good heart : (L)

:secret: the Bishop is also a good heart (well...often, at least), but his hoping that the neighbors will spare/share some NYE good will cheer and beer!
