Start out by using the word ' I '. Like, I am sorry to say, blah blah blah....then if she starts to go off, listen to her then ask, ' I am sorry, let me repeat what you just said back to you, and if I got it wrong, please correct me. ' That may set the tone to the conversation because people don't listen to what's being said when they are busy yelling. Avoid using the word, 'You' when starting off the conversation because it could come across to the other person as an attack and therefor put them in the defensive mode. Be gentle as possible.

Nothing new ...same old, same old. I fear the boy is ill because at the beginning of our last conversation he said he was not feeling well, then at the end when I brought up his health he ' claimed ' he was fine. I know he isn't because that is how he is....doesn't want me to worry because of my own health issues. As of this writing, we still do not know when he will return, but I left it in the hands of the Almighty as only His timing is perfect. Tomorrow mourning I have a doctor's appt and will get all the info about the kidney removal, although I'm having second thoughts about getting it done right away. I want to put it off as long as I can. I need more time to think and pray about this.

husband is fine, and anxious. i am anxious, and nervous. haven't had any real freak out moments, although we are both bored with constant immigration talks, but it is constantly on my mind, so i keep bringing it up. i have always been the kind of person where things just keep eating at me even though i have absolutely no control over it, until a conclusion has been reached, or better yet, the situation resolved.

We got that way about 8 months before the visa was actually issued. Got to the point that neither one of us could bring ourselves to even mention the word visa. I will say it again, this nightmare called immigration has made me very bitter and never will I forget what we went through.
