It is 1:30 and I am still in my pajamas. I actually feel better today, but can't seem to get motivated.

Last night coming home from Seattle my son got mugged and assaulted. Spent 20 minutes chasing the punkass kid who attacked him and stole his phone. Got help from some guy who was in his house. Cops came, arrested punkass kid, took my son to the PD to file a complaint, then brought him home.

It's been a weird couple of weeks.

Wow! Sorry to hear that about your son...but at the same time I feel very proud of him for chasing that punk down and putting him in JAIL! Your son also gets an A from the Bishop

funny, i was trying to quiz him on possible interview questions, and he really does know everything about me. i was very impressed

K ~ I went to the interview with Luis & the consul asked me to leave the room after he questioned us both. He asked Luis a couple of questions about me. One of the questions was about my best friend. She's bisexual so Luis explained this & that he was concerned at first him and the officer had a laugh. He also asked about my crazy kids. (names, birthdays, etc). Basically the officer told him congrats and warned him that he would have his hands full with two 3 year olds

jundp ~ a friend of mine got mugged a few years ago. They took everything, phone, money, jacket, jeans, sneakers. He walked home in his t-shirt socks & boxers. I told him that he shouldn't dress so nice. Seriously though, I'm glad your son is okay and they caught the punk who did it.

gpa is staying here for the holidays. to be blunt he is fat, old, and lazy as ####! he keeps asking me to do stuff even though it is very very clear that I can barely walk. earlier I was sitting on the couch, legs propped up, 8 bags of frozen peas on me...he says "can you turn on the light for me?" WHHHHHAAAAAAAT? he was within reach of the switch but he asked me to get up and turn it on so he wouldn't have to move! just now I walked into the kitchen to get a drink (I guess he heard me walk in there) and he says "hey you know that dishwasher is full and clean, you could empty it!" WTFFFFFFFFFFFF!!!!!!!!!! he keeps asking me to answer the phone even though it's like 5ft from him and I have to walk up 6 steps to do it and I can barely walk up steps. I don't want to tell him no because he's one of those old arsey old people who get pissed off if you sneeze. Is there a nice way to just say hey I can't f*cking move!!??? I just called my mom crying because he won't stop asking me to do stuff!

Hmmmm...unfortunately, at times Old Age and Grace don't go hand-in-hand...which is a shame...

So in that case, do what you can dear to be graceful in his lack of grace, but don't do anything to overexert yourself. Then, if he can't deal with that...then that is his issue and don't let it become your concern. You stay sweet!

nothing much. just emailed my husband a copy of my last paycheck stub of the year to prove i make enough without a co-sponsor. not sure if he will need it, but a just in case. on jan 1 i will email him december's call history to take with him to the interview on the 4th. other than that, still counting down the days.

Will you be staying home or traveling on Christmas day?

I iz home...AAm has off Chrismas Eve, Christmas Day, and the next day, but then has to work on Sunday. So, that gives us 3 days...but with Christmas in the middle of that it just didn't leave much time for going anywhere... But, it is our first Christmas in our new house so it is nice to be home.

I do try to keep up with the various sightings...but I can't remember reading about anything in Egypt as of late...I'll need to catch up on that!

As you can probably guess, the Bishop is a HUGE fan of Mary and loves Mariology. In fact, I have visited each of the three most famous sites of her appartions: 1) Our Lady of Guadalupe in Mexico City on Dec 12, which was the day of her apparation to San Juan Diego 500+ years ago 2) Lourdes, France where she appeared to (now) Saint Bernadette...which is where I obtained holy water which was blessed by Mary and still flows today 3) Our Lady of Fatima, Portugal...where she appeared multiple times to the three children (I went here alot while I was working for 6 months in Portugal).

These three holy sites are considered to be the most sacred sites of her apparitions. To visit each of them, has been a dream, and part of my personal pilgrimage for His sake and in His name. In reverence, I have built a small Marian altar of worship for her Son in my house, with Mary watching him with loving eyes...as she now watches over all of us.

Yep, us Catholics love our Mary...and do most all faiths. She is the Mother of God, and IT IS CHRISTMAS!
