Well leaving the kids for a few weeks doesn't count.

You should be so proud of what you have accomplished with a job and little ones! not many can do what you have done. I certainly could not.

Yeah, her boo hooing got to me, big time.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

My ex's mom is from Puerto Rico, but she lives in NY and still has a house over there and goes there every year for a few months. I flew the boys down there in '07 and they had a blast, got to meet their family that lives there and everything. It was nice. I have to say, I have no idea how my ex turned out to be the jerk that he is, his mom is the nicest lady alive & would do anything for her grandkids.

no, he was local. but it was another lesson learned.

meanwhile, husband's medical is tomorrow (tonight for us). he is in the doghouse with me for telling his mom about my surprise i am sending her. even after i requested he not say anything. his excuse? "i forgot".

That is one thing you need to know about Indian men.... they keep no secrets from their mama :hehe:

Luis knows how to keep his mouth shut, it's a quality of his that I really like. I'm the one with the blabbing problem. However I don't spoil surprises!! :)

OK so I officially think I may be one of the best wives ever (no I'm not from the Philippines)... I ordered a case of cow hearts from the butcher for Luis so I could make him anticuchos (see below). I ordered a box of 10 lbs of cow hearts (at 1.99 / lb it's a good deal) and although it personally skeeves me out, I am going to make as many of these anticuchos as I can, vacuum seal them and freeze them for him for Christmas.

nina and nagi you are exactly right. i can admire that he doesn't keep secrets like that from me, lol. i should have known better when he buys me gifts and has to show them on the webcam. what's done is done, and no turning back. he better be glad that i love him :yes:

I just did my grocery shopping for the next 3 weeks. I won't be cooking or able to drive so I bought tons of frozen #######. My freezers are all full now. I bet I don't even eat any of that stuff. I also bought a box of 100 popsicles :lol:

I just bought those edy's fruit bars last week - coconut & strawberry. They lasted a whole 2 days in my house.
