Hi guys. Just want to be clear on the income requirement. My fiance's rate per hour is $12. However, he only have like 26 hrs a week. So, that being said, if let's say he makes 1200-1300 for 4 weeks that makes 300-325 a week multiplied by 53 weeks which makes 17k for the annual income. I f he has a total asset of 8k (savings, car, jewelries etc.) will he be able to meet the requirement? His tax returns though show almost 20k income a year. Not sure though how it was computed. Bu what's important I guess is his current income. Any adviswill help a lot. Many thanks!

Also, there are 52 weeks in a year, not 53. It won't make much difference but wanted to make sure that you are calculating it correctly. Can he get a co-sponsor just in case? I think that it is better safe than sorry...

k-1 at manila dont usually accept co-sponser

Stick to Canada. USEM does accept co sponsors on a case by case basis.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

For success through Manila, your US Citizen fiance needs a full time job. His car and jewelry don't count for much. A small amount of cash will probably be be spent getting you here. I strongly suggest your fiance gets a full time job. No money, no honey. Harsh but oh, so true for most Consulates but particularly for Manila.

Alright, so if income is insufficient, would you guys know if CO will deny the application right away or will require petitioner to meet the requirement?
