Ummm... I was looking through all my paperwork, and I can't find any of my receipts... I had some for the hotels that we stayed at in India as well as the wedding venue that we rented... I cant find them.... :( How important are these receipts for the interview process for the K-3 visa? Will my bank account work with the day and place highlighted showing where we payed for it? Can he go and get duplicate reciepts?? anyone else had this happened? Aaaargh... I called myself being really organized... I pray that I have just put them in a very safe place that I will soon discover BEFORE we actually need them. :D

Same happened to me on the hotel receipts. I just included a copy of my credit card bill and hi-lighted the charge. the receipt had both the hotel name and city. I received no RFE's.

By all means try to get duplicates, but if not go the way I did. Better than no receipt. If asked.........tell the truth they were misplaced in the all the traveling. Good luck

If you have any ATM withdrawals during that period, get the receipts for those or print from your bank statements for that period. ATM receipts show where they took place. Also, if you have wedding photos, wedding invitation cards and the like, then the wedding venue receipt won't be a big deal. Don't worry so. You'll do fine!

Perhaps you sent it all off with the initial submittal on the I-130 ?
