Just wanted to share how excited we are! Just found out my husband's visa appointment is scheduled for Nov. 23!! :dance:

Our Timeline

April 4, 2009: Married in Tunisia

June 2009: USC received residence card

October 20, 2009: Submitted I-130 at embassy (Tunis, Tunisia)

October 26, 2009: Received Packet #3 in the mail

November 1, 2009: Sent back packet #3

November 13, 2009: Received email from embassy notifying of final visa appointment scheduled for November 23, 2009

November 23, 2009: Appointment for visa. Accepted with NO INTERVIEW!!!

November 24, 2009: Took visa in hand from the Embassy!

December 9, 2009- we both fly to AMERICA!!!!!!! (inshallah)

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

hehe yeah it is quick!! I am loving DCF too!! Quick question...when taking the I-864 documents..do i need to include the instructions or just print off the actual I-864?

hehe yeah it is quick!! I am loving DCF too!! Quick question...when taking the I-864 documents..do i need to include the instructions or just print off the actual I-864?

I just printed off the actual form, ie anything you fill in or sign.

12/16/2009 - USCIS office received the form

02/16/2010 - NOA1

02/22/2010 - I-130 Approved

05/27/2010 - DS-230 sent

07/19/2010 - Medical exam in Napoli

07/20/2010 - Interview

Applying for visa second time around. Originally moved to US 2002 on a K1 visa. Married Aug 2002 lived there 6 years then moved back to the UK with USC husband and kids. However, we're now looking at moving back, so we're doing the whole visa thing AGAIN.

July 20, 2009 - Mailed I-130 - The waiting begins!!

July 24, 2009 - File date

July 27, 2009 - Credit card charged

Aug 8, 2009 - Email petition receipt

Aug 20, 2009 - I-130 approved

Aug 24, 2009 - Mailed I-407 Abandonment of LPR status

Aug 27, 2009 - Packet 3 Received

Sep 7, 2009 - Mailed DS-230I

Oct 5, 2009 - Medical

Oct 12, 2009 - Mailed DS-2001

Nov 6, 2009 - Received Packet 4/Interview date

**Visa approved Nov 30**
