My CR1 case has been completed August 28th 2009 (California NVC), but we havent gotten an Interview date (Montreal Embassy). Does anyone else have the same issue? Getting crazy impatient! Help!

Based on the AVR, after 8 weeks if you haven't got anything yet, please contact the NVC...I think you should call the operator, NVC. I want other VJ's to confirm about it

G'luck!

no need to call operator - montreal is very very slow with scheduling interviews... :( some folks who filed in feb 09 and got cases complete by june/july just got their interview dates scheduled for december. it's just how slow montreal is, nothing to do with nvc... sorry about you, the only advice now is be patient (F)

Hey Biglos. I finished August 10th and still nothing. There are 4 people before me who finished in July who are still waiting. Montreal is seriously backed up.

It's ridiculous and awful right now.

I'm sorry you're waiting too -- this has got to be the worst.

Montreal is about 2-3 months back logged. Check the thread CR1/IR1 interview thread in the Canadian regional forum. You will get a good sense of your wait time from there.

My wait time between case completion and interview date was about 3.5months.

Good Luck.
