ummm the best ones in my opinion are Hog nuts..lol and yeah growing up in Kansas I have eaten them many times.. They must be properly prepared or yuck... but if the preparation is right they are quite good.. and anyone that is not a vegitarian AND didnt know what they were eating would like them... the texture is quite similar to that of a Mcnugget. form mcdonalds but the flavor is much better...

I havnt eaten lamb, turkey or any of the others except for Beef and Pork...

My Father prepared some and let my young teenage boys try them... they ate a plateful until he told them what it was lol and they did like them... wanted more... until.... lol Grampa told em what it was... needless to say Grampa got a big kick out of that..

Another item that is really good but looks nasty is Pickled turkey gizzards... they are boiled until tender and then pickled in a dill pickle juice... very very good... but floating in the pickle jar it does look like a pair of gonads...hehe
