Did you file in the right place, right forum ?

I'll take a stab at this, since you don't have a timeline, and have posted in the wrong forum ;)

Assumption - I-130 for yer spouse.

@NVC stage

never read LingChe @ http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/...he_NVC_ShortCut

so - with that assumption..

yikes.

Most ppl do not send it in all at once.

They send it in as I-864 first, then DS-230 second

But you can.

Most ppl don't wait to get it all paid, get all receipts gathered up.

They pay the AOS, then send in the I-864 first, then pay the IV fee, then send in the DS-230.

But you can.

If you gots ALL the forms done, and all of the coversheets and receipts, by all means,

SEND IT ALL IN, NOW.

and

GOOD LUCK !

No, I'm not knocking ya - It's a cranky tuesday overnight (and it shows )

Be Good !

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

Yes Usually people don't have both the i864 and 230 at the same time. The 864 and agent of choice form usually are done at the same time. then when the 3032 is ACCEPTED the 230 gets generated.

BUT if you have both, send everything in. The letters you receive will state on them that doing so will cause a delay, but I sent in our 3032 and 864 together and waited for the IV bill to generate before sending in the i230.

Basically what happened to me was, I received a false RFE because it took them so long to accept the 3032 and generate the IV bill that they had already received AND reviewed my 864 and financial docs....and the RFE stated that they did not receive ALL documents and I needed to send in the 230..........EVEN THOUGH they had not generated the IV fee yet and I was told to wait to pay the fee first before sending in the 230. The RFE was for not having sent in the 230.

When I called customer service at NVC they said basically the RFE automatically gets generated when there is a long time between them getting your 864 and receiving your 230.

So, since they were asking for my 230, I didn't wait for the bill to generate. I didnt add the receipt to the packet and overnighted my IV stuff on tuesday morning. the bill was generated late tuesday, so I paid it after I had already mailed the 230 off.

Then I called NVC to find out if it was ok. They said everything will catch up in a few days so it will be ok.

So if you have already paid both fees..........you're good to go.

Send in everything and you should get through NVC fairly quickly.
