Delayed Biometrics Letter.. anyone experienced this before?

It's been a month now since I sent the application.. and yet I haven't received yet my biometrics appointment! Anyone who experienced this before?! Help.. I'm soooooooo worried! Edited November 7, 2009 by km24

Did you get the NOA/ reciept for I-175?

I got this about 6 months ago and didnt get the biometric appointment yet. I wasnt sure how long does it take to get the appointment. Apparently It would take only a month or two.

I should've checked with folks here before.

But its over 6 months for me. I called them today, and filed a case. The representative talked to me said I should get the appointment in 6 months.

Anybody experienced such a long delay (6 months or more to get the biometric appointment)?

Yeah it happens a LOT.

If it's been more than 30 days since you got the NOA1 call USCIS and do a service request for the appointment letter.

We just did it and it worked.

I got my NOA's for the I-130 and I-485.. I was able to sign up for the online status updates.. But still I haven't receive the bio letter.. I really have to notify the USCIS about this..

For your bio letter.. Still you haven't received it? It's more than 6 months now right? This sounds crazy. All I know you'll be getting the letter in a month after you filed for the I-130 and I-485

Maybe I am on the same boat as you km24.. let me know what they say when you do call them ! What does your online status say... mine says that the fingerprint fee was accepted on 23rd october...

i had the same problem before i think mine got lost in the mail so when the 30 days upon receiving the NOA and didn't get my appointment letter i called the USCIS talked to a rep and asked for a service request. they sent me the letter again after a week.. since i missed my appointment date i tried a walk in at our local ASC and they were nice enough to accommodate me that day

Thank you so much for your reply. I will give them a call next week 'cause we'll be moving to our new home soon. Argh! Need to receive the bio letter before the end of the month.

HI Everyone... I am in the same timeline with KM 24 and at the same office in San Bernardino, CA and havent received the bio appt... so I called today and they did a service requet and the representative told me target date 12/16... OH MY GOSH thats so longg.... is it really gonna take that long????

KM 24 did you call yet... please update if you did call, but i also read on puccagaru that u received appt in a week.. i hope thats what is going to happen.... im really frustrated and down....

i think they give their office another month so they can re send your letter but i hope you get yours after a week or so after you ask for a service request.

we never moved... we still have the same address... I really hope so, it will arrive in one week puccagaru... so worry..
