I dunno if I'm just lucky or if VSC are getting on with it, but my fiancee received the following email this morning:

> The last processing action taken on your case

>

> Receipt Number: EACxxxxxxxx73

>

> Application Type: I129F , PETITION FOR FIANCE(E)

>

> Current Status: Approval notice sent.

>

> On February 17, 2010, we mailed you a notice that we have

> approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E).

My NOA1 date was November 5th and before I get verbally assaulted by some of the angrier members here, I can assure you there is nothing special about my case - no deployment, no asylum, no son of any deity - just a bog standard I129F petition for a normal Scottish boy and a normal American girl.

Hopefully this gives some of you hope - it's a great feeling to get the approval and get ready to move on to the next stage!

Congratulations! Am well happy for you (and for the fact that they are not meddling about in any Dec or Jan boxes!)

Enjoy the moment, crack open the Irn Bru and treat yourself to anything you like from Gregg's the bakers!

Am now hoping for approval of ordinary Scottish lass and ordinary US man.

luv and licks! x

"Are you talkin to me? are you really talkin to me?" (does Robert De Niro in Taxi Driver) :D

Congratz on ur NOA. Im honestly happy for you :innocent:

November and b4 filers deserve their NOA2 b4 anyone else, and it's always the "anyone else" who gets it first.

And, I'm not an angry member ><. I'm an evil one

All September, October, and at least 50-60% of November applications have to be approved b4 they even think of touching the December, and now the January ones. This is what gets on my nerves. where is the fairness in this process? where is the equality? and some come (holding their NOA2) and open their mouth about respecting the unfair VNC employees. I have no respect for people who slack and don't do their job as they should do it.

And when we fight for November filers rights, its "all of November filers" rights, not just our personal dates.

Where I come from, government employee or not, if you don't do your job like you should, u get reported and fired instantly. This why applications are looked into in order.

Im gonna close the subject for now, cos I don't feel like getting on my nerves today too. Ill go get me a Mc Donalds and enjoy it :P

Im checking my dates, I'll post the result later.

I hope you get good news soon, My NOA1 date is the 2 Nov so i hope to hear something soon as well.....My lawyer is charging a nice fee for her services (what services?? she ain't doing squad...) I just hope all the documents were in order before she sent them....I tried to use an expsdited method but, my lawyer thought that hardship was not strong enough, so she didn't even try.

Here is my "Hardship" I'm not sure if i fall under the Military category or not. Im not in the military, but me and my fiance work in Iraq for DOD with DOD deployment orders. The only good thing about my case is that my fiance is here with me 24-7. We work in the same building, and we sleep in the same building LOL (keep it on the low low...cohabitating is not allowed on Mil bases in Iraq) heheheh....So, i was wondering if is a good idea to call USCIS and pleed my case. My lawyer keeps telling me to be patient and she keeps thowing the 5 month waiting period at me.......108 days have passed since noa1....not bad....but it could be better.....

Thanks everyone - here's hoping you get good news soon too.

That is fantastic news Mike! Definitely worth celebrating!!! :wow: We here in the November group have been thru a lot and to see an approval is nothing short of a miracle!! Seems like one of the folks at the VSC is working hard on November K-1 Petitions which is certainly heart warming.

Good luck with the DOS and the rest of your journey!!!

See you at the November filer reunion next year!!! lol ;) Seems like we should have one as much as we have been thru.

P.S...I am not a mad poster either...I just enjoy reading the thoughts of our fellow November filers!
