ok im doing the k3 visa and i was told i must be a sponor and must do the affidavit of support, but i go to uscis site and it reads this,,,,,,,,,, Affidavit of Support For Fiancé(e), Spouse, or Child as a “K” Nonimmigrant

If your relative is either a “K-1” fiancé(e), a “K-3” spouse, or a “K-2” or “K-4” child of fiancé(e) or spouse, you do not need to submit an affidavit of support at the time you file your Form I-129F petition. Instead, you should submit an affidavit of support at the time that your fiancé(e), spouse, or child adjusts status to permanent resident after coming to the United States. im a little confused here, please help me to understand this thanks,,,

If you are following the K visa route you will file an Affidavit of Support for the Embassy Interview and again for the Adjustment of Status (AOS). The Affidavit of Support for the Embassy will most likely be an I-134 depending on the requirements for the Embassy. The Affidavit of Support for AOS will be the I-864.

Naturalization

3/23/14 - N400 package sent to Phoenix

3/27/14 - N400 package delivered

4/3/14 - NOA1 receipt date

4/4/14 - check cashed

04/29/14 - biometrics date

07/01/14 - interview date

xx/xx/xx - Oath Ceremony

Thanks for asking the question. I was about to ask the same question. I'll send my I-129F in without the I-134 if it is not needed at this time.

People wondering whether to send affidavits of support with and I-129F for spouse or fiancee have clearly done a poor job of studying the Guides and form instructions. Doing so is critical to your ultimate success. I encourage you to do both before beginning to fill out forms and assemble packages for mailing.
