Had a touch on October 19th and not NUFFIN'. Case was transfered to CSC and we got an odd non committal update message. Just getting frustrated and want to know if we should plan on an interview or not. Grrr.

Anyone else going through this?

=)

Considering you are filing AOS, getting transfered to CSC means no interview unless they find something they don't like and kick it back to the original USCIS office for an interview.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

I think it's always safe to be prepared for anything. If you don't end up with an interview, fantastic. But if you do, you'll be ready. Hopefully.

yes, I am going through the exact same thing. A number of us were touched just like you were in the AOS June thread. Just waiting it out right now ...

We all just got touches, no message. What did the message say?

therefore my heart greatly rejoices,

and with my song I will praise Him.

We are also in the same boat. Filed in May, transferred to CSC in June and now touched 10/19. I haven't gotten any updated messages though. I believe the message that I see on the USCIS website is the same message that we got back in June when the case was originally transferred to CSC. I know of one other person who was touched on 10/19 as well. It seems strange that we all got touched on the same day!

yes, about 5 of us in the June AOS thread were touched on Oct 16 and then on the 19th. One of the people got her green card a week later. The rest of us are waiting.

The Lord is my strength and my shield,

My heart trusted in Him and I am helped,

therefore my heart greatly rejoices,

and with my song I will praise Him.

My case was never touch...was transferred to CSC and didn't have an interview. Application went smoothly. Don't worry too much.

It's not a matter of worrying about touches. We filed in June, two months before you filed. We are still waiting. CSC has had my case for 4 months almost. That's twice as long as your entire AOS timeframe.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

We were also among the CSC transferred cases and the 10/19 touches, and I was wondering if someone just kicked the box back into the corner, but last night I got an email saying:

"On November 3, 2009, we mailed you a notice that we had registered this customer's new permanent resident status. Please follow any instructions on the notice. Your new permanent resident card should be mailed within 60 days following this registration or after you complete any ADIT processing referred to in the welcome notice, whichever is later."

So, get ready, they actually opened the boxes!

Have you tried calling them? Something must be wrong because just like you said, you've filed 2 months before mine and from your timeline, you did not received an RFE so I can't see any reason why yours is delayed.
