Hi!

I just checked when we had our last update on our case and realised it hasn't been updated eversince it got to CSC.

Is this somewhat normal or should we be worried?

It has been exactly 5 months today so i expected some kind of update but there is nothing.

I am confused, also seeing that others have already received their NOA II after two months or so.

Should we call them or is that considered too pushy?

Sorry, please help!

Definetly call them... if they dont help you out ask your congressman/senator to get involved.

Your estimation, from your timeline, is :

Based on timeline data, your I129f may be adjudicated between October 24, 2009 and November 17, 2009.

Ours was pretty close to being accurate, but you can ring them if you are concerned.

We never showed an update or a touch the entire time, and the NOA2 turned up in the letterbox. Our K1 still shows pending.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

Mine took allmost 6 1/2 months, during that time, there was no touches.if you call them before the time frame they have listed for that service center, they will only tell you it is not out of the timeframe, then they will tell you everything you may allready know, basically reading from a card.it is everything we all have allready read on the USCIS website, and ask you is there anything you would like for them to repeat. After the time frame has passed, then call, they will get some info from you,put in an order to see what is happening with it.trust me,I went thru it also.after I made my second call to them, the one after the 6 months had passed,I called my congresswoman, after 1 week of hearing nothing from them,I called my state senator,2 days later,my petition was approved. So,basically, what I am saying,is to wait till the 6 months has passed,it will do you no good to call,as they will do nothing for you.But hang in there,it will be ok,After I got the NOA2,it was sent to NVC,then to the consulate within 4 days. Its going so fast now,we cannot seem to keep up with them.

Thanks a lot! You guys are great in cheering one up, that's for sure.

I'll just keep it together and wait another month or so.

Thank you all!

Ours also says pending, even though we have our NOA2 hardcopy, and we are at NVC. #######?

No. It is not even a "sign" at all. Our case, and most, have no "updates" until approval. Ours never had any updates and was never updated from "pending". The online systems is not very accurate (or hasn't been, we will see if the new system is more reliable but too soon to tell,,,maybe not, you will let us know, yes?)

Calling them is not "pushy" since you can't call "them". You can call a customer service call center manned by contract employees that have absolutely no clue of how this works and whose only connection to the system is the same update system you are looking at . The answer they give will be from a list of 14 choices. The choice they make for the answer will be the one that they determine is most likely to prevent you from calling back.
