hi popthecork, i noticed your case was also transferred to CSC, the date jan 5, 2010 was that the date reflected on your USCIS status that it was transferred? or the day they sent u an update for it, like email or sms

because our case was transferred as reflected on the USCIS site, jan. 28 but i got the alert on the 29th..

i was just wondering because that could mean i could also be approved for the EAD and AP sometime this week then :)

I check the USCIS website everyday, and on Jan 5 the message had changed showing that we had been transferred to CSC. Although we have signed up for email updates, we have never received a single one. Since Jan 15 the online system has changed to say that our case was transferred to a USCIS office and no longer states which one. I have come to the realization that their system is only a guide and cannot be counted on. Our AP (which we physically received in early Jan) still says it is under initial review in the system. Good luck to you on getting the EAD and AP, ours did come very shortly after we were transferred, and hopefully yours will too.

I got that same email today and had that same thought (that it had already resumed processing). From asking around, it is apparently common to get the second notice.

We received our Green Card on, February 5th.

Finally, after no e-mails or updates online, we received our first e-mail about our case on January 28th, saying we were approved on the same day as our interview, January 26th?!

The second e-mails came on January 29th. These were the welcoming letters and the next day in the mail, January 30th, we got the actual welcoming letters!

On February 1st, we got snail mail letters saying the cards had been ordered (no e-mails this time) however, four days later got the cards!

I can't say I understand how the system gets updated, or why ours was not tracked very well, but we are very happy to have the Green Cards in hand now.

We will be wishing, watching, hoping, praying, or whatever it takes, for the rest of you in November, to get your Green Cards very soon.

BEST OF LUCK,
