Interview Experience

Just spoke with Alla. Her good friend Evgenia had her K-1 interview today. This is a brief summary:

Waited 3 hours.

No problems with documents.

Called in; people very nice.

I asked her if she mentioned what questions she was asked. Alla's response (she was at work so we couldn't talk long): "Choot-choot, Ahh Nothing"

Did not look at photos or other evidence.

"You are approved; have a nice time."

Out of there.

She'll be coming to Atlanta around Nov 7.

thank you so much for sharing this. Someone else posted a concern over interviewing officer's knowledge of Russian. Did she mention any difficulty understanding an officer when he/she was speaking Russian?

Evgenia's English is very good, so I know that wouldn't have been an issue.

That is good to gear, I'm glad the experince was so smooth for your friends. Katya and I's paperwork should be in Mocsow by now; though we do not have an interview date yet. It is good to hear other people's recent experiences to calm one's nerves. I know Katya is already getting nervous about simply flying into Moscow (She's never left Vladivostok before); couple that with the unknown of the interview and the whole experience could be overwhelming. It's nice to know the interview should be a breeze, all things considered.
