Hello everyone. This month rocks for me, its my birthday and my fiancee just received our noa2. I would like to ask where do i go from here. There are a whole lot of websites I've opened and I can't help but get overwhelmed about all the details.. I would like to gather insights from those who have already gone through the whole process, probably sites which can somehow relieve my confusions.

So far, I already have the following

1) Passport (just started processing today, I need to wait a month to get it done)

2) Cenomar

3) Birth Certificate

4) NBI Clearance

5) Photos have yet to be sorted out (we have like 10000 photos) apart from those

who have already been submitted in the I-129F application

6) Vaccination Details since birth

Not to mention all the stuff I have to sell which can somehow help my finances throughout the whole journey.

What else do i have to get?

it's best if the op posts questions in open forum for a wider range of answers rather than rely on advice via pm.

Now that you have your NOA2. Next thing to do is to wait till the NVC receive your case, you can wait at least 1 or 2 weeks before calling NVC to confirm that they have your case. If NVC have your case already, they will tell you that your case has been transferred to the US embassy. Your fiance will receive letter from NVC stating that your case has been transferred to US embassy. You will have to wait for another letter from the embassy stating that they have your case and instructions of what to do, but you have an option to have an early medical examination at St. Lukes Extension Clinic using the letter from NVC or NOA2 (just make sure that you already have an appointment for your interview. Give at least a week after NVC transferred your case to embassy before your fiance calls them to set your interview date.

If you are done with medical examination and have interview date. You are good to go, just don't forget I-134 (affidavit of support) from your fiance and supporting documents for it, such as pay stub, income tax returns, W2 and bank statements.

You can also add some chat logs or email of you and your fiance to your proof of relationship.

That may very well be true but no one, myself included, wants to be held up for abuse and ridicule by some of the jerks and losers that seem to lurk in this forum.

Its much easer to exchange information via PM. Not everyone is fluent in English and not everyone can construct a sentence with correct punctuation. "Some" folks here take great pleasure in jumping on those who can't, and it only drives them away.

No question is stupid and no poster should be subjected to ridicule. Don't suggest to report these people because their identity is already well known and nothing gets done about it.

To also start in with the 'get a thicker skin' or 'its the internet, suck it up' comments are pointless and don't help anyone. If you can't say something nice, don't say anything!

Until something is done about it, I will always suggest that others PM me and I will always be happy to provide the best answer I can.

I don't claim to know the correct answer, just that I will respect every question and be courteous and polite. When I don't know the answer, I will direct posters back to the forum for more opinions.

i understand why one may want to do that, however, it is discouraged by ewok due to the information being sent isn't "peer reviewed." and if you see that behavior going on that you cited, please send me a pm.

Read the Guides at the top of the VJ page. The steps are outlined there. You should also read the USEM website. They have a list of all the requirements for the interview.

Good luck on your preparation.

I appreciate your immediate replies on my concern, it helped me in sorting out a whole lot of information in my head right now. Well, I think it's just a matter of organizing evidences to make this entire journey a dream come true.

By the way, the reason why I'm posting this under "the philippines" is because i think one's preparation depends from one country to the other. Some consuls are lenient in handling cases while others would really squeeze your brain out.

I'm still hoping to receive more information. Thank you guys.

You are correct. Questions about the visa process in the Philippines and requirements for the Manila Embassy office are very appropriate questions for this forum.

You could be all finished with this by January. Good Luck!!

Safe Journeys.
