Sort of confused will be adjusting status as soon as my Natasha gets here using the K-1 and was hoping to get a jump on the forms. Question 16 on EAD asks for category. I read the instructions Number 6 A. which reads.."K-1 non immigrant fiance of U.S. citizen or K-2 dependent-(a)(6). file your ead application if you are filing within

90 days from date of entry. This EAD cannot be renewed. Any EAD application other than for a replacement must be based on your pending application for adjustment under ©(9)" Can someone tell me what the category is? Is it (a)(6) or ©(9) or both? Alos on all the AOS formdo we use her married last name or her maiden?

Thank you

It's C9, and you use whatever name you want on her green card.

I'm confused. it's really © (9)...? my husband is eligible because he was a k1 visa holder. but now he's my spouse, obviously, since we got married. i just assumed he'd be the (a)(6). please correct me if i'm wrong! as we are filing tomorrow!
