Timeline

Every once in a while when I log into the USCIS it get this stupid error message when I log in to check my status and if I've been touched. Errrrrr... irritating... can't anything go smoothly over there?? Does anyone else have this problem??

Summer of '04 - Started Talking to Leila on Yahoo Messenger

3/23/06 - Went to Cebu, Philippines to meet Leila & see her graduate. Also proposed during my trip.

4/30/06 - Leila left the Philippines to go back with her dad in Tokyo, Japan.

5/01/06 - Sent I-129F to CSC

5/09/06 - NOA1

7/29/06 - In Tokyo with my beautiful fiance!!

7/31/06 - NOA2 Approved while in Tokyo!!!!

8/06/06 - Just got home from Tokyo... Goodbyes are so hard :(

8/07/06 - NVC Recieves case

8/11/06 - NVC Sends case to Tokyo

8/17/06 - Embassy in Tokyo sends Packet 3 to Leila but she was in Atami

8/22/06 - Leila calls embassy and they tell her what she needs to mail in

8/23/06 - Send Packet 3

11/3/06 - Recieved Packet 4 (took longer than usual because my fiance is not a Japanese citizen so her

paperwork had to be verified with Korea... very irritating)

11/7/06 - Medical Exam

11/20/06 - Interview!!!

1/12/07 - Arrival in US

2/14/07 - Wedding

K1 Visa Process long ago and far away...

02/09/06 - NOA1 date

12/17/06 - Married!

AOS Process a fading memory...

01/31/07 - Mailed AOS/EAD package for Olga and Anya

06/01/07 - Green card arrived in mail

Removing Conditions

03/02/09 - Mailed I-751 package (CSC)

03/06/09 - Check cashed

03/10/09 - Recieved Olga's NOA1

03/28/09 - Olga did biometrics

05/11/09 - Anya recieved NOA1 (took a call to USCIS to take care of it, oddly, they were helpful)

You think our government would have better websites than that. Its kinda scary if you think about it. It takes them so long to get paperwork processed... can't make websites that work. BTW... who made the decision to more all the K-1 at NSC to CSC? The VSC has a lighter load and faster approval times. You think they would have given some to them. Why can't things just go smoothly?

The transferring of petitions between various service centers happens all the time. I-130's from VSC are now also being transferred to CSC to clear the backlog in VSC of other petitions. Service centers process all manner of petitions, not just I-129F's and I-130's. Its easy for all of us to forget that fact.

Also, sometimes it doesn't work with browsers that are not IE. I don't know if that's the case.
