I imagine they will probably just send everything back to you, including the check.

Whoops, just re read your post and saw it was a money order. Not sure what you'd do in that case, you may want to ask where you purchased it. You may be able to cross out with a single line and change it as you can with a check.

Just wait and see what happens, you might get lucky and it will go through anyways, if not they will probably just send entire package back and you can resubmit it. I would contact whomever you got the money order from and see what is required to exchange it if you need to when it comes back if that is what happens.

They stamp the checks and money orders with their name. They will put it through most lkely. Of course since you used a money order it will be much harder to tell. Personal checks are much better (for future reference)

Yep they stamped my last one over the top of what I'd hand printed. I guess I don't write that clear.

Thank you all so much for your replies. I was actually gonna have the envelop stoped and return to me, but I guess I'll just try and see what happens!

As for the money order, I can check if and when it's cashed and since we do not have or normally use personnal checks, it was not an option.

I'm so relieved you have no idea. thanks everyone!

There is a option for next time. Use someone's check you can trust. That way you'll get your number on the back also.

Also, if you have a bank account you can get a cashier's check from your bank.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”
