Hopefully, in the not too distant future, my Belarus Fiancee will need to travel to Warsaw for her interview. Am I correct in that she will need to apply for a Polish visa to travel to Poland? Has anybody been through this before and can give me some info as to how to proceed? I assume, for one thing, that we need to get a interview date first as visa have time limitations. Thanks.

yes, Im all to farmiliar with it! if you plan on getting a visa for more than 3 days you will need proof of either having payed for a hotel or apartment, reciepts for flight or train/bus etc...and proof of her interview at the US embassy. also try and do this at least 2 weeks ahead of time because it may take a while and tell your SO to be prepared to be treated like ####### at the polish embassy.

I know of two Belarussian citizens who solved the time issue by just booking travel through a licensed belarussian travel agent. Then you have all the proof necessary. That was several years ago, so I will defer to those going through the process currently.

Good luck!
