Hey all! So, we're married :D

I got my K-1 approval in the mail late on Monday May 17th, and first thing Tuesday morning flew out to Oregon via Vancouver. There was a huge backlog of people in secondary inspection at immig. in Vancouver, so they had to put me on a later flight... not impressed... but I made it! After 4 days of craziness, we got married on Sunday the 23rd, and it was PERFECT! It rained a bit during the ceremony, but at least it didn't pour like it had earlier that morning! We had so much fun and were just so happy to finally get married that little things like that didn't matter- it actually made it more enjoyable :) And the clouds made for some sweet pictures :yes:

We honeymooned in Hawaii (which was a surprise to me since Aaron planned the whole thing)and had an amazing time! Relaxed, had adventures, worked on our tans... good memories for sure! Then we came home to our tiny little house which we have been working on for the past week, and I LOVE it!!! It is so stinkin cute! Nothing compares to being married, and I'm so excited for you guys who are about to tie the knot!! It is seriously the best thing ever :)

In SUCH a state of dejavu today ... John got his email/text notifications just now (6 of them, btw!) that his NOA1's are on the way for his AOS/AP/EAD. Such a weird thing to be experiencing again!! :blink::rofl:

Congratulations Corey and Aaron! I can hardly believe that in 3 weeks it will be my turn! I am counting down the days until Ron arrives. He decided to come down on June 30 so his POE is a day earlier than we planned, but that is JUST FINE with ME!

Congradulation everybody :) im for 5 days in america already and 3 days as married lady :) weird feeling!! as i m so bored start doing aos papers, hope we will be able to send it this week :) and jet lag just killing me, cant sleep at all.. !!! :) i cant believe everything is over :)

congratulations on making it over to the U.S.! Like my sister's husband told her when she got married, "Time to find a hobby." Hopefully that hobby will be more exciting than filling out AOS papers which shouldn't take that long.

The anticipation of my fiance' arriving on June 30th in the afternoon is nearly killing me! I hope his POE goes well since I won't be there with him. It is such a good feeling to be so close to having the love of my life at home with me in Michigan!

I just received my first piece of mail in my married name, even though my marriage isn't for 13 days yet! We changed over my insurance to include my fiance' (soon to be husband) and included his Canadian car on the policy. Yikes, because he doesn't have U.S. credit history we are taking a major hit in our premium! Grr. Hopefully that will get fixed as we get him a SSN and credit cards from the U.S.

Haven't changed John's over yet ... I'm kinda scared to find out! :unsure:

I wonder if you can even insure his car, since it wasn't able to be imported, but I guess maybe so, since I was able to insure Ron's car before he actually arrived.
