Does that 90-day window mean you have to get married w/in that period

Get married and AOS. However, some people actually have less than that. Those people had a date written on the POE stamp in their fiances passport.

Filed Removal of Conditions: 11/05/10

Rec'd NOA1: 11/08/10

Biometrics: 12/22/10

It means you must be married in that time-frame. It is best if you can file AOS before the 90 days expires but not a "set in stone" rule. When the 90 days expires your spouse will then be "out of status".

The marraige must take place within the 90 days after US entry. There is no time frame requirement for adjustment of status.

However I would urge anyone to file for AOS as soon as possible after marriage.

It only means that you must be married within that time. You do not have to have your Adjustment of Status filed by then. It is suggested that you try to get your AOS filed ASAP but there is nothing in writing that says you MUST have it filed before your I-94 expires 90 days after arriving at your POE.

We met in October 2007 and our immigration journey started in July 2008 when we filed for the I-129F Fiance Visa petition.
