Stina and Gupt....you two remember Tom92117? I do vaguely....he was on the downhill slope of his visajourney when I joined.

I remember one day he just kind of posted that he was done here and wouldn't be back for a while. Don't think I've seen him since. He was a VERY funny guy and helped a lot of people with valuable posts. Maybe he felt he had outlived his usefulness here, or maybe he was just sick of immigration. I dunno.

What I do remember is he went out with grace...not guns-a-blazing.

Pretty classy if you ask me.

He always said he'd be gone when his journey was over. He did what he said he'd do. He had some great posts on the visa forums. I actually used his checklist for AOS.

Man is made by his belief. As he believes, so he is.

He moved to the Phillipines, not sure for how long, after his wife got her greencard and they were done with the process, etc. :)

He was full of info, true. While I didn't personally get along with him, I do admire that he was able to stop his addiction to VJ and move on after the process.

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

Perhaps my knowledge IS getting out-of-date anyway. Things do change.

Yeah, I browse over to the visa forums from time to time and find that I don't really get half of what people are talking about  And what advice I can give has already been given.

same here...I realized all my K1 info I know of is 2 years out of date now.

Does it make ya feel useless around here? HAHAHA

*shrugs* Sometimes that's how I feel. I used to think I'd like to stay around and help people the way I was helped. Now I just feel like old baggage....LOL

aye, myself as well. That's why I don't hang around much anymore, other than to read the "crazy threads". LOL
