Becca... i am TOTALLY there with ya... i think i am just over-sensitive these days... not just to VJ... but to everything...

Basically, i take things to heart... even when it isn't about me... and it hurts me when i see/hear of others getting hurt feelings/attacked... i am just too tender-hearted i think... i know we can't live in UTOPIA where no one's feelings get hurt, etc... but i do wish everyone could just get their point across without NEEDLESS bickering, etc...

anyways... i'm off of my soap box... i can't be defender to everyone... too tiring... too stressing... lol... gonna put away my Super Cape for another day... lol

i have my moments of wanting to say so long vj... but i have made some truly wonderful friends here... and still need the info here... research, etc... i think i am just letting it all get to me...

I hear ya Lynne. But I like you have made good web-friends here and some are still on their journey. I want to see them through.

It's not the flame wars that get to me - nor even people leaving because they somehow no longer feel welcome. It's when I try to help someone and get my answer picked apart that I wonder why I even bother. So mostly these days I just post in off-topic. Perhaps my knowledge IS getting out-of-date anyway. Things do change.

Perhaps my knowledge IS getting out-of-date anyway. Things do change.

Yeah, I browse over to the visa forums from time to time and find that I don't really get half of what people are talking about :unsure: And what advice I can give has already been given.

same here...I realized all my K1 info I know of is 2 years out of date now.

Married since 9-18-04(All K1 visa & GC details in timeline.)

*shrugs* Sometimes that's how I feel. I used to think I'd like to stay around and help people the way I was helped. Now I just feel like old baggage....LOL

Same old, same old.......

K1

September 15 - 2005: NOA1

October: Waiting

November: Waiting

December: In Security checks

January 2006: Waiting

February: Waiting..Contacted Congress

March 4th: APPROVED

March 17th: NVC posted file to London

March 20th: London Receives file

March 29th: Receive package 3

April 13th: London Receives package

April 19th: Medical - June 13th: INTERVIEW......APPROVED!!!!

June 20th: ARRIVE IN USA

Time taken for whole process 9 Months

AOS

October: 13th: Sent off AOS Package

November 3rd: NOA1

November 14th: Snail mail ~ NOA1 ~ Case moved to the CSC for faster processing.

November 14th : CSC has petition for me and my daughter.

December 14th: Biometrics completed.

January 17th: APPROVED AOS!

January 22nd: Green card arrives in the mail:))

Time taken for AOS - 3.5 Months

Finished for 2 years.

:lol: Kinda, well I rarely venture into actual visa topics anymore. And when I go look, I don't feel like answering a question (not very nice I know hehehe). I'm only here nowadays for the general discussion sections. :unsure::P I used to help people more, right after our visa process, but now it feels like a long time ago.

A few days ago, I was talking to a friend about this process and realized I had forgotten the form number for the non-immigrant Affidavit of Support! :(

:lol: hmm...what is it? I-864? Or is that something else... :unsure:
