I think the price needs to come down a bit more, but if they really do last as long as they claim it would be well worth it. I've started using CFL's about 3 years ago, and so far ive had 7 burn out on me. I don't think its entirely on the CFL's though, my apartment occasionally has some weird electrical problems.

Big reason why not; No one buys just one light bulb. Ya gotta buy several, unless you live in a jail cell, and just have one lamp. Mucho Money, that's why. Better to spend it on something fun and enjoy yourself!
