Hellow fellow vj'ers,

Just curiuos about this question. Is deportation possible for a mom of a 1 yr. old US citizen baby?Would they really take the mom away from her baby?

Thank you very much.

Not only is it possible but it happens all the time. I personally know of some one in this situation right now. Not only will they do it it they also cant deport a legal citizen meaning the child. So the mother gets deported to her country and if she doesnt have money to for a flight for the child the child will stay here in the USA a ward oif the state.

The laws are the laws. If one has entered illegally there isnt a whole lot of options for them.

happy... In reading your past deliema regarding the misrepresentation of documents on the BC's, I would say that you are in quite a pickle that most likely require a lawyer well versed in Immigration law to sort out... The US Govt considers any issues of misrepresentation of documents, violation of immigration law etc... very serious. Given the current immigration climate, yes, they can deport you even with USC children.... I would get moving and get some representation ASAP...
