I feel terrible for you, sorry man, so much so that I don't think I have the courage to call them for my status in a few days. Seems like you have a good attitude though!

Yea, i prepared myself mentally for this before i ever filed it. We already tried to get a tourist visa for her in August since my 90 year old grandfather (who half raised me since i was 3) was in the hospital for pneumonia, but they didn't even look at the letters or evidence, just outright denied it.

Besides, i'm not gonna let any country's stupid #### immigration laws get in the way of our relationship- so i decided to quasi-'move' in with my fiancee, so its not all bad.

Just wish china had some sort of an immigration system.

Haven't posted in this thread in a while but I'm happy to say that we just had out interview at the embassy today and we were approved!

No blue slip and they kept her passport telling s they would mail it to us within a week! I think we are the first VSC October K1 filers to get to this point. It was an insanely fast 93 days from petition sent to interview approval at the Embassy in Seoul, Korea.

Interview was very short and the only questions asked were:

How did you meet?

When did you decide to get married?

When will you go to the US?

and Where will you stay in the US?.

The whole process took us an hour and a half from the moment we walked in the embassy. We are so happy now and we wish everyone good luck in their visas as well! :star:

Congrats man!

Any society that would give up a little liberty to gain a little security will deserve neither and lose both.

Do you think it's too early to try and call the Service Center to find out if there is an issue with my application? People on and around my date have received their NOA2 but I'm still waiting. And it looks as though they've stopped processing them all together. So now I'm not sure if there's an issue or if I'm just extremely unlucky.

I wouldn't freak out just yet. I've been checking Igor's List at least every half hour, and it looks like only about half of the Oct 2009 filers approved, as yet. You've still got some company.

But seriously, get approved so the can move on to the November applications already :P

Make that three on the Igor's list. I have it bookmarked on all the computers I have access to and it's always up on the screen so I can check it. Though I only check it every hour...on the hour...since that's the moment it updates. Yes, I have it timed now. :)

CSC was moving really slow last month so I wonder if they gave VSC some of their applications to process. I believe they did that a time before too. Which means we're at a stand still cause CSC can't manage their work load. :P

We've been watching the list as well and I think I'm about to bug out. We've bounced up and down from the same 2 places for the last several days. We'll move up a place and be all yay and then check it again only to find we've moved back down to our previous place. Now every time we check out time line it says this : Processing

Estimates/Stats : There are not enough recent approvals in the timeline system to accurately approximate when your I-129f will be approved. Please see the Timeline Stats page to see recent approvals. It's really really disheartening.

And things were really moving right before the holidays. :(

I married my British Husband strictly for financial purposes. My heart wrote a check and I cashed it. (L)

I know, right?! It's driving me crazy!! Right before the timeline system stopped giving dates, the last date range it gave me was Jan 4-7, which I'd say is definitely a pipe dream at this point. Sigh. I can't stop checking Igor's list every half hour during the day, and when I'm home in the evening, I pretty much just refresh it every 30 seconds. And all for nothing! What the heck, Vermont?! Get the lead out!

I would say that we need a support group thread for Igor's list addicts, but if I know myself, I'd just be checking to see if there were updates on the thread every time I checked ol' Igor's list, and then nothing would get done... Man, I will be such a saner person when I just get that magical update from USCIS.

My time line actually had me at December 24th at the latest for getting my NOA2. Soooo not happening there. :P I'm just more frustrated because with all of the approvals going out so fast before then we went ahead and set a date for our wedding in June. I figured that would give us at least three months breathing room since all of the applications were being approved in a month to two months. We even bought concert tickets for the time when he's supposed to be here.

Now I don't know if we'll even be close to getting his visa when any of this rolls around. And it doesn't help that every day my sister calls me up to find out wether we got the NOA 2 because once we get it then we can start looking at sending out invitations.

Arrrrrggggghhhhh so frustrating!
