I've never gotten a flu shot, but I am not totally opposed to it. Though I don't plan on getting it, I guess. Shots don't bother me. Except I have gotten cortisone shots a few times in the outer section of my ankles and that kills, especially because the needle was moved around while inside to spread the cortisone. That's one of those *breathe - it will be over in a few seconds, over in seconds* zoning out times. LOL. I'd rather get a shot than have my blood drawn, because I have gotten poked in 3 different places by one nurse in the past and she STILL couldn't get it in the vein. Now that hurt and left me looking beat up, hehe. I was pregnant too, you get lots of blood drawn during that time.

The only time I got the yearly flu shot and within a few days I became very sick. Of course I read up on it and found out it was mostly a guessing game with them on what flus to go after. At that time they started to look at strains in Asia and tracked them toward Europe and then made up their minds on which ones to go after and that they were usually wrong. Also they tend to get sloppy in the manufacture of the vaccine and screw it up and not unheard of to make people sick. Of course the Socialists in power now will use any scare to push Health care so I can see them screwing this up.
