I have a US flag on the wall, and would like to have an Indian flag on the wall, or somehow fly them TOGETHER, but I don't think my soon-to-be hubby would like that.

Right now the Canadian flag is displayed in my apartment on the wall. (its not in a box yet...lol) However, when I move next weekend, both US and the Canadian flag will be displayed outside of our new house!

We have a mini American flag in our house, because on Memorial Day someone in the neighborhood put flags at the end of everyone's lawn, with their business card stapled to the bottom(real estate). Besides that, we don't have any flags outside or inside the house.

The first year that my son and I were here (2002), we had both American and Canadian flags stolen outside of the house. They love to steal flags in Boise and Meridian, Idaho. No more flags for us.

I have Tibetan flag bumper stickers on the front and rear bumper of my white Honda. I put them there so that my fiance would be able to find my generic car in any parking lot. It was a hopeful gesture. I think my bumper stickers are going to peel off before he ever gets here. Sigh.

We have an American flag on the outside of our house. I wouldn't mind having a Mexican flag, but here where we live, I think it would offend many and probably wouldn't go over very well. I wouldn't want to risk it being stolen or vandalized.

No US flag flying, but in our dining room, which we've decorated and stocked like an English pub, we have a large union jack that hangs in one window, like a curtain, and a large St. George's Cross in the other. We have them more for the decoration than for patriotism as neiter of us are overly patriotic.

One day, near Memorial Day I saw some American flags for sale and thought DANGIT why did I not buy a HUGE Russian flag during my trip! I bought 4 of these small American flags, 1 for Olga, 1 for each of her parents and 1 for her brother.

So I searched online and found a flag place and ordered a small American flag and a small Russian flag (4x6ish each) and a stand for them. They proudly wave in my bedroom near my map of Europe and Asia cut from a world map due to it's size! I also have a pin sticking in Olga's home town on this map! =)
