oh well! At least Nick is here this time :)

Well, that IS the historic purpose of the K-1 process anyways: to dramatically speed up the happy reunion.

Back in the days when marrying abroad and filing for a spousal visa was the only option, the GC part of the processing took 1-2 YEARS, during which your honey would be stuck out-of-country. The K-1 was invented specifically to split the [relatively] quick processing the entry visa from the [then] glacially slow process of processing the GC, allowing you to be together, in the US, while that part slowly worked itself out. [Not to mention they get an extra $1000 this way  ]

At ONLY 2-3 months of processing, we're spoiled bloody rotten :)

Heck, my I-129F took longer then my AOS :)

Take heart. Remember, I didn't get a single touch on my AOS from the day after biometrics to the day it was approved. Not. A. One. But the averages on the spreadsheet have been a real good predictor for when things have happened. I was able to call my AOS approval, almost to the day, 2 weeks in advance, using the September filers spreadsheet averages. If I'd been running a pool I'd have won big :) :)

Congratulations to all that have received their approvals! We haven't had a touch on our AOS since November 3rd.... I'm guessing we're going to have the same luck as we had when we were waiting for the NOA2 for the K-1 visa... which was not great... oh well! At least Nick is here this time :)

My AOS hadnt been touched since the 6th of nobember and then it was approved dec 8th without any touches the whole time.

Minnew has had tonnnnnnnnnnns of touches and hers isnt approved yet!

I think it really is just based on the person you get. They may be working on your file but just not scan it in as a touch or anything. Im pretty sure you will get your approval soon, likely without touches as some of us have had that happen.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

According to the spreadsheet, the average approval time for EADs is 42 days after AOS. That means that you can expect your EAD to be approved within a range of days, from roughly a week before day 42 to roughly 2 weeks after day 42, with the highest probability hovering right around day 42.

Day 42 for you is December 10, tomorrow. So you can expect your approval literally any day, very likely within one week and almost certainly within 2.

As for your GC:

You were transferred on Nov 18. Average transfer to AOS interval is 45 days (low 35, high 49).

45 days from Nov 18 is roughly January 3.

So based on the numbers on the spreadsheet, you can start to expect a GC approval pretty much any time after Christmas, with a high probability of it coming in just after New Years and a virtual certainty, all other things being equal, of seeing it by the middle of January.

It's an interesting fact of statistics that the averages generated by a relatively small sample are still very accurate. We have enough people in this group for estimates of EAD approval to be reasonably accurate. The GC estimates are a little fuzzier, but not obscenely so. We're starting to hit critical mass there too, where we have enough approvals that our averages are statistically meaningful.

To sum up:

You have very good reason to expect a happy email from USCIS re: your EAD literally any day now, each day more likely than the last!

GC will probably be about another month tho.

Thank you HeatDeath!! You literally just made my day! My estimated approval date for EAD jumped from the 6th,8th...then to the 10th and is now @ 11th-19th! Sooner than later though please!! VJ timelines are pretty accurate considering like you said!!

first thing I got was a Card Production Ordered email, followed by another Card Production Ordered email the next day (dated the same as the first one tho), then about 4-5 days later an Approval Notice Mailed email.

Then the Welcome Notice showed up.

Then the card showed up.

Date of the first email and date of the card showing up are on Greg's spreadsheet. Welcome notice arrived the day before the card.

Gosh, they're shiny :)
