I called up NVC this morning and the operator told me *again* that our case hasn't been received by NVC yet. I'm just wonderin' why a lot of people has been getting theirs 2-3 weeks after the approvals, and ours has been approved more than a month ago. anybody else in the same boat?

Might also be time to call USCIS and see when sent out.

I know a couple here on VJ whose approved petition was sent to the NRC instead of NVC NRC National Records Center,

So call USCIS and see what they say.

thanks, and hopefully you'll be in NVC stage real soon

Truly happy!!!

New life, new adventures, and a new attitude.

I know a couple of people that got their approval about the same time you did and there still waiting for the NVC too. Not sure what the deal is. Hang in there and hopefully you'll receive your case number soon. Good luck.

My case took 4 weeks to get to NVC. But it really depends..keep calling them and bugging their pants off! I hope it gets there before the 90 day...period though. And if not, they'll put in an investigation.

I've heard of USCIS misplacing files before...maybe that's it.

Good luck! I hope you get your NVC number soon.

Citizenship and Immigration Services (CIS- formerly known as INS) to

I believe it is 800 375 5283 and options 1,2,3 to speak to an operator.... I would definetly give them a call and talk to an operator and see what is going on... Perhaps they can put a trace on it... Good luck

Yeah, there's definitely something that's gone wrong with your case if NVC doesn't have it by now. Our NOA2 was 8-3-09, and we completed NVC yesterday. Call USCIS, it seems your case got lost somewhere between USCIS approval and NVC receiving it. Sometimes NVC is slow entering things into their system, but not THAT slow!

It takes 8 months for us to see each other back again since we started our visa process, and now here we are reunited back again and happy together.
