Hello there!

I downloaded the G-325 from the USCIS website a while ago. The form was 5 pages long: 4 pages of things to fill out, and one instructional page. I recently downloaded the instructions for the I-129F, which had this puzzling statement: "Submit a completed and signed Form G-325A (Biographic Information) for you and a completed and signed Form G-325A for your fiancé(e). Except for name and signature, you do not have to repeat on the Biographic Information form the information given on your Form I-129F."

That made me think that I needed to submit only one sheet--and sure enough, the version of the form G-325 that is downloadable now has only 1 sheet, not four. But in searching on the site, I keep seeing people talk about 4 exact copies, etc. etc... So I'm wondering what to do!

Thanks so much!

It was a four part form in the past they updated the form in July but there has still been some confusion. Read above for info.

4 pages each person. Include ALL/EVERYTHING when in doubt. There is no risking it in this process lol

We got confused too when we prepared for the I-129F until I read the recent immigration news on visajourney.

We used the new version of the G-325A then print it 4 times. So 4 copies for the petitioner and other 4 copies for the beneficiary. Hope this enlighten u. :)

4 copies for Petitioner ? Why ?

The G-325A and G-325 clearly asks for applicant details and signature.

So why would you want to put the USC's 5 yr employment history and residence ?

The applicant would be the non USC spouse filing an adjustment of status. 4 copies of applicant's G325A should suffice in my opinion.

Filing without a lawyer for my spouse (on H1-B with I-130 approved)

10/22/2009- Package sent to Chicago (I-130 approval, I-485, I-864, I-765, I-131, I-693 and G-325A) by Express UPS ground.

11/02/2009 $1010 Check cashed

11/09/2009 Received Biometrics appointment letter scheduled on 11/25/09

11/12/2009 Completed walk-in Biometrics

11/12/2009 I-131 and I-765 touched

12/22/2009 Received EAD and AP

12/29/2009 Received interview letter

02/08/2010 Interview scheduled

Because the g325a is a multi purpose form and the question was originally asked in the forum for K1 visa and the I-129F asks for copies from petitioner and beneficiary....or to put it mildly NOBODY was asking about an AOS question

I just got approved and we only mailed one copy of the new form.

Thats good to hear, a few more of these notices and I think we can hope that ALL the adjudicators are gonna stick with the new rules and not just those that PAY ATTENTION during the morning meetings
