HELP!! AOS interview tomorrow morning

Hi, our interview is tomorrow morning. Can someone tell me if the IO keeps your proof of relatonship i.e. bank statements, insurance etc. SHould I make copies of everything I bring to the interview? It just seems like so much to copy.

Submit copies and bring the originals in case the IO would like to inspect the documents. What is submitted will become part of your file.

If there's something you are taking as proof and you don't want to let them keep your copy then definatly do so.

Ours was on wednesday and even though she took cards and photocopied them herself the immigration officer made us go find a copier and copy the things she wanted to keep and bring them back.

thinks i would defiantly take photocopies of are birth certificates and marriage certificates, passport pages. photographs i.e. wedding and your life together. and any statements or bills with both your names on it or assets.

she kept copies of photos, a joint bank statement, car insurance, health insurance, cell phone bill, credit card statement, it cost us an extra hour waiting to to be let back in to get my passport and approval. it wasn't huge but it could mean having to leave the building to find an outside copier (though there was a really expensive one in the same building we went to and used) and re lining up.

save yourself some time cos they can photocopy and do but for some reason ours didn't want to do all of it. :S
