Yep. Read about this yesterday -- as someone who commutes via bicycle I can say, this scared the ####### out of me. How angry do you have to be to back up and drive over another human being?

It's sick. Just read in the paper this a.m. that he's being charged with criminal negligence and dangerous operation of a vehicle causing death. Yep -- pays to be a former AG... .

le sigh...

Medical - December 14, 2009 - Passed

USCIS -- ROC package sent off

November 26, 2011 to Vermont station November 30, 2011 received NOA1December 16, 2011 received biometrics appointment.

January 04, 2012 Biometrics

September 2, 2012, RFE Received.

September 22, 2012 RFE responded to

October 15, 2012 ROC approved, 10 Green card on its way.

If you read today's story though, it explains more in detail what happened.... the cyclist was trying to climb in and punch the AG, so AG was trying to get him off his car. He undoubtedly didn't intend to run him over, that was an accident. He should have stopped and it's terrible, but when you read the details today it was definitely unintentional

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied,that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

I heard that too! If you put yourself in the situation, a drunk cyclist is hanging on to your car and possibly trying to attack you, what would you do? I would attempt to drive away as well, out of fear of being attacked! It's terrible that he fell under the car, but it's obviously an accident and the AG called 911 right away... it will be interesting to see how this plays out in court

I read that he was driving all over the place trying to drive the guy into something that would knock him off. I am ignorant of the laws in Ontario, but that is very callous and illegal in every state i've lived in.
