I can't believe that August is over :crying: , I just won't accept it! I'm leaving my calendar on August! I think most of us were robbed of summer!

We were sitting on the porch yesterday evening and it was fun watching the squirrels gathering their food. The one squirrel came so close to us and maybe would have gotten closer if it wasn't for my dog.

well, east coast summers suck! so i'm glad the fall is close by! no more humid 90+ degree weather. :D

Timeline:

Sent in I-130 form: 01/29/09

Interview Date: 11/08/09 (APPROVED!)

Visa in Hand: 11/12/09

POE: 01/30/10 (!!!!) at JFK Airport in NYC... can't wait!

Got the green card maybe 8 weeks after 01/30/10...

TBC....

More school and working today, bleh. Insha'Allah today goes smoother than yesterday... I was utterly exhausted. Made my self feel better with some etsying, though. :D

June 11 05-Married George, civil ceremony in New York

May 30 08-Baby Joshua was born

Jan 15-Back to NY we go...

May 10-made decision not to go back overseas.

July 10-filed for divorce

Jan 11-Divorce final

July 11-1st trip to take Josh to see George

Mar 12-2nd trip to take Josh to see George

Morning Jeanne....wishing we could get some of your hot weather around here. Feels like fall already. We really got gypped this summer. I think winter is gonna be REALLY bad this year and Minnesota is well know for BAD winters. Four-five months of winter...not looking forward to it! Poor Ahmed, inshaAllah he'll be coming then but that poor man things 50 degree is FREEZING! He has NO idea!
