Okay, just had a text - he picked up his medical records & x-rays and is heading to the embassy now. He'll be about a half hour early, so that's good. Bet he didn't eat a single thing this morning.....

He said it's freezing.

Hi Julie,

getting excited about the result..hehe..anyway, wish him luck...

best wishes

most of the time, they only give a time to come to the embassy. unfortunately, if it is like new delhi, they could be there for hours before they actually have the interview, that will most likely only last 5 minutes. it is like the "hurry up and wait" mentality. so no stressing out yet

Maybe a dumb question but just want to be sure before I mail it in. On the ds-230 when it comes to the dates of places where lived since the age of 16, so as i filled it out, I put the date ie example: Dec. 2007- Jan. 2008 so would i start my next example like Feb. 2008- Dec. 2009 or would I put Dec. 2008- Dec.2009 I know this is a dumb question but just wandering if I start the next month or keep it the way i have it in the first listing. Im not sure if this makes since but if you know what Im talking about can you please help or give an example of what you did. Thank you

Yes I know its for the beneficiary, but he had 4 places he lived due to moving for schools and work. So was just wanting to make sure that going to the next month would be ok. Thank you

Surprise surprise, Montreal denied our request for an expedite. I'm just so damn discouraged by this process right now. I know there's a line, but it just seems like they could find a way to increase capacity, maybe open up some folks in Toronto. I realize we only got approved last month, but its just not right... All the other embassies seem to be able to make it happen - Best wishes to all out there...

I would put it like Dec.2007-Jan.2008, then Jan.2008-Dec.2009 so there is no gaps. If they want actual days then do Jan.1.2008-Feb.15.2009 then Feb.16.2009-present date.

That way all dates are covered and no gaps in between.
