You are Welcome girl! I am happy for you that yours is over til citizenship! I am glad September filers is moving now giving way to October filers like me. Happy New Year you ! By the way , While waiting for your 10 Yr GC did you carry your NOA1 with expired GC all the time ?

I don't carry my GC unless I travel internationally. I put them in a safety vault with all the important documents. LOL

I have my state ID for identification in case someone ask for it. Thanks again.

Hey everybody... Just came back from a short trip and guess what, this is the letter I found in my mailbox:

"Congratulations! Your request for the removal of the conditional basis of your permanent resident status has been approved... You should receive your perminent resident card within 60 days"

Woohoo... awesome start in the new year. Decision date was 12/23/09. However, the letter only says the first initial of my name and not my whole first name, should I call them up and make sure they put my whole name on my new GC or are they automatically going to do that?

Oh, I think that is how they send letters (check your biometrics letter, the name showing in the addressee is like that, but the appointment is in a full name format). Double check!

Mine's the same. Just the initial of my name and then the last name.

That's how my husband's NOA reads...but the biometrics letter used his whole name.

Do they approve applications in date order or how? I notice a few people who filed the same time as us who have gotten their approval as well as people who filed afterwards who have gotten theirs. Does that mean we should expect RFE or an interview?

What do u mean "the forum engine has to create a new page?" Maybe because it does needed to be on the next page because it reached the posting limit? I made my signature like what I wanted and I haven't read anywhere on VJ that u need to shorten out your post because it created a new page or something. Thanks for the concern but I don't know why it does bother u that much that u need to use Jesus' name? I had the same signature and never change it from the date I joined VJ and so I do not have plan to change it either. Thanks again and have a nice day....

I hope my post didn't came out rude to you, sh18..I'm just not use in dragging Jesus' name in expressions like that..I wanted to edit the post bec. I might offend u with it but I can't and so I just made this one. Anyway, I had this signature ever since I joined VJ and that was 2 years ago and I do no have any plans of changing it.

:dance: Congrats to the others! We came back from visiting family and received a letter congratulating my wife! WOOHOO!!!! This made a nice Christmas present.
