That is not a reflection of the health care system type. Brazil is quite a poor country.

Compare the shortages in Michigan, a strong CON state, with the robust expansion in Ohio, which junked the law. In Detroit, patients wait 7 weeks for a PET scan for cancer or lung problems, and then often get scheduled for 1 or 3 a.m.

I cut this out for the article I posted. Never heard of such a thing under Australia's NHS.

Australians live longer than Americans and they have (public/private) NHS. Actually Australians now live a good 3 years longer; and it's said to be increasing. Man, I'm killing myself by being here.

So that rules that 'opinion' out.
