Is there any way for member timelines to be deactivated after they are inactive for a certain length of time. I am asking because I am looking at all of the K-1 petitions beyond the CSC projected timeline. I would say about three quarters of the people who are not listed as approved have not been on Visa Journey for the past 3 months. Now I certainly would not want to have anyone deleted who was an active member, but these people are unlikely to ever come back and update their timelines. And their timelines throw off the approval predictions and give a false sense of what is going on.

Any suggestions, ideas? I know this must be a pretty big task to complete....

there are many members that take a break from vj either their wait has become so long that it really upsets them to see people moving on, or they are busy trying to get their life in order with the new wife or hubby.

there are some that have sit their profile not to show they are on line but come and visit daily just to see whats going on.

i myself do not show up on the time line because there is nothing in the data base for that length of time waiting for noa2

others could be in the same position as i am just waiting but not talking about it....

this is just my opinion

You do have a really valid point - there may be some people in there skewing the data ... But it's probably too difficult to determine who to keep and who to "cut."

Also, maybe this might reach a more appropriate audience in the "Site related" forum.

I also agree with OP as well. maybe instead of "deleting" these users we can have choices when viewing the timeline. For example, there could be a drop down menu from which we could select inactive members for the past 3 months to be removed from the calculations.

ARe you filtering those timelines that haven't been updated ?? I think they may also skew the numbers some if they've been approved but never entered in VJ timeline???

Any incomplete timelines are not used :) .
