We are currently gathering our documentation for my AOS package and have a few questions;

1 - Do we have to provide the G-325A for myself and my wife or just for me as I'm the who obtains the greencard?

2 - We are being co-sponsored by my father-in-law. My wife has to fill in an I-864.

Does my father in law only have to fill in an I-864A or an I-864 AND an I-864A?

Thanks in advance, without this forum, we'd be dead in the water.................. :thumbs:

1 - Do we have to provide the G-325A for myself and my wife or just for me as I'm the who obtains the greencard? One set of G325A for both you and your wife attached to the I-130. One for you attached to the I-485

2 - We are being co-sponsored by my father-in-law. My wife has to fill in an I-864.

Does my father in law only have to fill in an I-864A or an I-864 AND an I-864A? I-864A only. Your wife fills the I-864.

Thanks in advance, without this forum, we'd be dead in the water.................. :thumbs:

2- It depends. If you live with your father in law that means he has to fill I-864A, if you live separate he has to fill I864

We did a K-1 Visa so you mean I-129F in place of the I-130?

Since you did K1 you only need to include the NOA2 for the I-129F along with your 1-485. You dont need the I-130 but check to be sure.

If you also have a co-sponsor they would also need to fill out the I-864 and include the supporting documentation if they do not live with you, If they do live with you then it's the I-864A like has been stated above.
