I have 2 questions about the I-134.

First one: Would it be ok, if I send a scanned copy of the form SIGNED to my finace to use for her interview?

Second one: How does it work to have co-sponser help show support? Not quite to sure how to do it.

Thanks for all the help!

I-134 has to be the original.

Don't know what you are asking?

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

As the previous poster stated, your fiance(e) needs an ORIGINAL, SIGNED I-134 (with supporting documentation) for the interview. A printout of a scanned copy is not going to cut it.

You only need a co-sponsor if your income (and/or assets) are not sufficient to meet the guidelines (i.e., 125% of current poverty level, as per the I-864 instructions).

Also, be aware that not all consulates accept co-sponsors for the K-1. It's best to check with your consulate and follow their directives exactly.

Improved USCIS Form G-325A (Biographic Information)

Form field input font changed to allow entry of dates in the specified format and to provide more space for addresses and employment history. This is the 6/12/09 version of the form; the current version is 8/8/11, but previous versions are accepted per the USCIS forms page.

Some consulates (like Sydney) require 100% of the poverty guideline for the I-134 and 125% when you file the I-864, so it might be worth checking your consulate for that applies for you too.

Hi,

My fiance just scanned the signed I-134 form along with his W2, Certificate of Employment (with company letterhead), ITR sent it to my email and I just printed them here. I didn't have any problems with the Consul. My interview went smoothly.

Goodluck!
