Hi all,

Checking back in after a hiatus...

We have just moved to another state and intend to stay here for a few years. My husband has a 2-year conditional green card... does he have to change his address with USCIS now that we moved? As i mentioned, he already has his green card, and we won't be removing conditions for about a year or so...

Thanks!

10 days via AR-11

also the I-864 sponsor needs to provide an I-865 if they move as well

Hello,

We also moved and I changed the addess online and also by calling uscis.. but we didn't do anything about I-865.. I didn't see anything about it on uscis wesite.. I also told the interviewer to change my address when we had the GC interview on August 10th. and I got a mail from uscis that says my address was changed and I also got my GC welcome notice in the mail that says my GC will be mailed within 3 weeks to my new address.. Do we still need to send I-865 or is that ok.if we don't..and who is going to fill out this form? me or my us citizen husband? Thanks..

Can we change his address online though?

The AR-11, yes. https://egov.uscis.gov/crisgwi/go?action=coa

The I-865 has to be mailed.

Sponsor (or co-sponsor) is (still) required to send in an I-865 within 30 days of moving. In your case, notifying UCSIS at the interview may not be sufficient in the sponsor's case. Best to simply submit the form to be sure.
