Actually is some ways it made it easier for him.

It's like a new coach, taking on a team with a fantastic record or,,, a piss poor record, when at the bottom, improvement is fairly easy.

In fact many economists said if Obama doesn't make things worse, many aspects of the economy will "self correct" given time.

We see the Market coming back and housing will too.
