Yeah I call him hubby just like I call him hunnie, sweety, jerk (lol just a thing between us :whistle: ) I am aware that ppl call their husband that but yes it's my fiance, and just becuz it sounds cute. =]

You need to stop calling him Hubby... if you were to slip up and call him hubby at your interview or at the POE they will think you are already married. It is easy to prove you are married (marriage certificate) it is very hard to prove you are NOT married.

This has happened to others so keep the cute Hubby name for after you are married..

And YES USCIS loose papers everyday.

Lol, don't worry, I'm not going to tell anyone that is in a higher position how I call my loved one. If it matters or not. =] And mostly to everyone I talk to I just say Bill. Just sorta jumps out without noticing while typing.

And yes you are right, maybe I should stop looking. But it also gives me hope... It crushes me and gives hope at the same time, does that make sense? I guess nothing makes sense atm.

Anyways, thank you for all your answers.

Love is patient and kind;

it is not jealous or conceited or proud;

love is not ill-mannered or selfish or irritable;

love does not keep a record of wrongs;

love is not happy with evil, but is happy with the truth.

Love never gives up; and its faith, hope, and patience never fail.

Love is eternal.

I told my hubby that there is a possibility that files get lost at the service centers, but he doesn't believe it. Can anyone confirm this so I can show him that it DOES happen.

Thanks

Wouldn't matter. Married people (with hubby's) cannot get K-1 visas

I am certain things can get lostt by the government. This is why you send everything certified and make a copy of everything and bring a copy of everything to your interview

Maybe reading everything would help? We are not married. I've explained this in another reply. Besides that that is not the point, that's not the "problem" I have.

But will they send you an RFE if they lose it??

If they loose something they'll send you an RFE because they'll assume you forgot to send it. There not going to assume you send in a perfect petition and they messed up. No point in worrying about it. If you've mailed it out already, there's nothing you can do but wait.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”
